Why do we do it to ourselve?

My god...
Have had one of the biggest weekends of my life (which started on wedesday) and ever since yesterday i've been feeling the reprocussions of the abuse i put my body through.
My neck hurts
my glands are swollen
my throat kills
my jaw is killing me
my body in general hurts
My head is piercing...

And i then wonder.... Why do we do this to ourselves?
Mind you the nights were fantastic...
Probably one of the worst hangovers i've ever had in my life (and it's lasted 2 days... which can't be right)

Anyway, what bad hangover stories do you have?
And have you ever woken up and said... i'm never going to do that again... only to be doing it a few weeks later...?
I actually want to meet someone that said... i'll never drink again while they had a hangover and actually stood by their word

I dont get hangovers, really bad anyway - might feel less than 100% but nothing to write home about. I've seen some pretty bad ones though and I've heard others swear they'll never drink again, but you never believe them. As to why we do it, its fun, we enjoy it.. And most of the time it doesnt kill us, so why not?

There's definitely been a few times where I was like "fuck this, I aint drinking no more". The first time was the worst. I was at my house with my boy and we were getting ready to go to this girls house for a small party get-together type thing. I drank some beer quick and I mixed a huge cup of bacardi and coke. I drank that on the way there.. which is only 5 minutes away. Then when I got there, I drank a shitload. I must of mixed like 5 different kinds of beer and 7 different kinds of hard liquor. I got extremely drunk to the point where I couldn't even walk anymore basically. One of my boys lost his bottle of Soco and he told me about it.. so I went and asked some people if they took it and I supposedly made a big deal out of it. I guess I tried fighting with them. Then when they said it was all good and passed me their hennacy, I finished it and they got pissed. Anyway, I was like 18 and that was the first time I really threw up from drinking alot. I just mixed way too much. I had to be taken home and brought into my house. I woke up the next day and was still kinda drunk, haha.

every sunday morning i tell myself i'm not drinking again but then the best way to get rid of a hangover is drink some more or smoke some weed... but like someone else said... we live in the Now... Party Now Hangover later...

I used to get hangovers alot when i was younger but it seems as i get older i rarely get them.. plus i try to drink 2 glasses of water before i go to sleep/pass out that night.. As for crazy stories.. hmm... i got alot of em.. lol

But to break it down is really quite easy.
We get so caught up in the moment and living for that particular moment that u forgo even considering the past/future. Plus its fun to get fucked up.

im a big guy...6'2...260 pounds...thats a shitloada body to fill up with alcohol...those little...750ml bottles of vodka?? they dont do much...

but then again, do you really get hungover in high school?? i think its more of a college thing...in high school, you gotta go home to mommy and daddy who love sniffing your neck when they hug you when you come in the door...

for my indian ass, it's a rolling pin and a couple wooden sandles...but...thats me.... it must be great being white...
