Some people's personalities just don't click. The strange thing about a forum like this is that i bet a lot of people on this board who dislike each other would probably get along in real life.

Example - I bet there's a real life Casey Rain and a real life Illmatic out in Michigan somewhere and they're inseparable and the best of friends.

I think some members may have a stereotype-forum-persona of other members which causes them to react 'a certain way' to other members. Psychologically, it is not that the person is acting out of dislike for that particular member, he/she is acting out of dislike for their own 'mental image' of that member. This is but one perspective.

Are you asking me salty; isn't that for you to decide? I guess it depends ultimately on the extent of the 121 interaction between certain members. What is said and how personal it seems. Is it directed at the person, or a particular view they hold? Everyone has some kind of mental image, the important thing is not to be ignorant to what could contribute to such a concept. Operating from a stereotypical point of view is shallow and superficial. The mental image we need to take into mind is that everyone is the same here, but different. This is a duality we all share, and is relative between us all. Dislike is but one side of a coin of preference, a coin that has two sides.
