I want to know out of this list who's funniest. I did not include dave chappelle because most people like him just because its cool now to like him--despite the fact he really is silly..

I've been a fan of his since 'robinhood men in tights' - unfortunitly most of his fan's now adays are just caught on and claim he's their fav. because everyone else says so. Watch, when his third season finally hits, and it doesnt live up to expectations, most of ya'll will hate on him again...

people are saying chappelle becuz of his show and movies, plus hes popular now.....no one was talking bout him before that...its that simple.. take that away from him and no where near the top 5 of black comedians..and U DONT KNOW WHO PRYOR IS......wtf, hes only the person that most comedians on that list plus a shitload more are influenced by, Pryors comedy is from like the 70s and 80s and the shits funnier than anything said by any comedians on that list...


THIS THREAD IS SILLY,not only are some the great black comedians missing but most people here that dont listen to a wide range of comics will vote chappelle, BECUZ OF HIS POPULARITY AND SHOW....i aint hating but its true, i like mike epps but hes name shouldnt be on the list........Eddies pretty good though, Delerious and Raw are classics.

and wether you like it or not , chapelle IS funny ... I - living in Belgium and definitely not being "affected by his popularity or whatever bullshit you're talking about" - had never heard of the guy & someone told me to download one of the episodes just out of the blue ... I laughed my fucking ass off!
tho' I have to say , when I saw "killing 'em softly" I didn't like his stand up as much , but he's still the best imo ...
