Both young undefeated fighters at 140 pounds. Clearly both are the class of the division. Ricky Hatton has that swarming style. Throws many punches a round and never gets tired. Made Koztya Tzsyu(hall of famer) quit in his corner. Then you got Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather. Defensive genius. Super quick hand speed. Big wins over Corrales, Castillo, and now Gatti. The most gifted boxer today.

Mayweather without a doubt. Just look at his speed. Like someone said you can't hit what you can't see. Also Cotto does not have the speed and strength like Mayweather. I think it will be another blowout in favor of Mayweather.

^ What? you can't be serious! Cotto might not have Mayweathers speed but he certainly does have his power, Cotto's much stronger than pretty boy. their Ko % is in favor of Cotto. Jim lampley, Emanuel Steward and Roy jones even said that Cottos much stronger when asked who would win out of the 2 if they ever fought and said mayweather will have to depend on his speed and his slick moves to beat Cotto and i agree with them.

Now as for Pretty Boy vs. Hatton, As of now I really can't see anyone beating Mayweather after that excellent performance he displayed vs. Gatti, I think he will retire undefeated. he's truly a very gifted and skilled fighter. What I find most impressive about Mayweather is no matter who he's up against he will adjust and adapt to any fighter and fighting style he's facing, he reads his opponents like a book just 30 secs into the fight and adapts and dominates them at their own game plan leaving he's opponents frustrated and confused and thats what brings boxers down.

^If they both get in on, would you be willing to bet? Just a friendly wager? $20 bucks. Mayweather will just tire Cotto's strength. Mayweather will just move and move and Cotto will be trying to get him hense tire him. This is just my opinion but I am willing to back it up with a little bet.

I dont think Mayweather would have an easy time with Hatton. Hatton swarms you. He doesnt give you any breathing room. He keeps throwing punches. He is also a dirty fighter. He holds and grapples you. He throws rabbit punches. Low blows, drops elbows. All of that. This wouldnt be nothing like Mayweather/Gatti. Gatti fought a stupid fight. He thought he could box with Mayweather. Hatton wont box with the boxer. He would get inside and attack.

I agree with you, i dont think Cotto can beat Floyd, i was just pointing out the fact that Cotto does have mayweathers strength if not more. but at the end of the day power alone can't win fights, i think floyd will outlast, outspeed, outskill and outsmart cotto which is why i believe Floyd will win over him if they fought soon. Only way i see Cotto beating Floyd is if he fights atleast 5 more fights before fighting the likes of Floyd. Cotto is still fresh and young, he can still learn alot and needs a lil moe experience with top boxers. If he does all that he will be a worthy opponent for Floyd.

Hatton aint ever fought anyone like mayweather before, but like wise mayweather aint fought anyone like hatton before.
Hatton's had his chin tested before though and came threw with flying colour's, i wanna see how mayweather react's when he get's his chin checked.
Another thing when you are fighting hatton you dont have time to rest, he's all over you.

I agree with you, i dont think Cotto can beat Floyd, i was just pointing out the fact that Cotto does have mayweathers strength if not more. but at the end of the day power alone can't win fights, i think floyd will outlast, outspeed, outskill and outsmart cotto which is why i believe Floyd will win over him if they fought soon.
