I assume they could inject the glow in the dark stem cells into a cancer region to see how they develop and thus how cancer spreads.

Sort of like when you take your car to a mechanic to find the oil leak, they do the same thing, inject a glow in the dark solution and then see where it comes out.

My point was, instead of the Scientists trying to find a cure for cancer, they're making novelty pigs that glow in the dark.
