i use it a lot. for instance. if someone ask me something and i go "no lol" i don't mean it as "no HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" it's more like chuckling while saying "no", you know that kinda unexpected, funny "no". i dunno, i never use it to underscore that i am laughing out loud because i most often aren't.
