Well I agree with Flip Mo about the whole 'family familiarity' thing. There's a feeling of solidarity, feeling comfort in a place you visit and re-visit for so long, and that must be key to its attraction. When I think about it it's a kind of mystery to me: how I got here, or why I keep coming back, but I know that if it weren't for a few select members I'd be gone... I've been talking to Jokey and Chronic on and off now for a good six or seven years, and that's interesting to me, and obviously I'd like to preserve that...

And I do believe the forum and its discussion topics more caters to a certain crowd, a certain area of interest, a certain lack luster and waning conversation, BUT over the years I have read and spoke my mind on many notes and learned a thing or two in certain key discussions, so it's all a bit educational, a bit fun...

You really really love me. :amazed:

I agree with the rest though, while for the most part we all act silly, and childish. When the big discussions take place people throw in some mature feedback and we all learn a thing or two.

Bien dit Mademoiselle Elvira.

I think that at the end of the day what makes us such a strong community is that (now that we've gotten rid of Bacho) we are all good and intelligent people.

Id have a drink with any of you guys and consider you all my friends. Heck, Ive been in touch with you longer and more frequently than most of my real life friends.

how could anyone surf the site for 8+ years and not post more than 100 times ... it seems odd to me if there are so many active members that are still visiting the board after so long then why aren't they posting ... i wouldn't bother staying here if i didn't post ... i don't see the logic of being a member here and not posting what's on your mind

I had well over 8,000 or more posts then one day, they went bye bye.

I will remember the day the board got hacked and getting promoted to a street soldier like the day me and my wife will have our first child.
