I'm watching superbowl or american football for the first time of my life. I don't know rules or so but it's not that hard to get.

Anyway, why with all these tacklings? Can't people do something else BUT tackle? Can you pass the ball to teammate and if so, why don't they do it? I usually see the quarterback get the ball and he passes to someone and it's it. Then they start over again.

Because they're not near each other and each receiver is being covered by players on the other team, and as you just saw, interceptions are the danger when you start tossing the ball around.

They move, trust me. But the players covering them are moving experts. Also, if you start passing the ball off and a player gets hit, they lose that sucker easily and then it's a loose ball.

maybe you're right, as I haven't played football, but it just seems as if they're not moving. And the fatty with the beerbelly also kinda speaks for what I'm saying, I'm sure he ain't moving that much.

You need to see a play from the air, which they show sometimes. Then you'll see how much coverage the other team has on the field when a players running down it trying to catch a ball. Not much room to run right or left.
