Well who dances and what kind of dancing do you do?

Here's my resume for dancing
I was one of the b-boys back when i was 15. I toured with the b-boys from brisbane and did fashion shows and stuff which was awesome. I then did both of my knee's on 2 seperate occasions and had to stop doing it.
I then became a hiphop/funk instructor for different schools around melbourne. It was good fun whilst it lasted and that stopped in 2001 after school had finished. I still do do it, but i just don't teach it any more.
About 2 years ago i took up latin dancing. Salsa to be specific and i won different competitions and did a few performances around Australia. I stoppped early this year because of some personal reasons but in the past month and a half i've gotten back into it. I have a performance lined up for myself at an international sydney salsa congress next year which is one of the biggest events. The other types of latin dancing i do are the chacha, rumba, afro-cuban, merengue etc.
Good fun

So who else dances? what styles of dancing do you do? etc etc.

Electric boogie is my thing. Electric boogie is a style of popping (ticking). Both locking and popping or ticking originally came from Los Angeles. Both locking and popping existed a long time before breaking was born. During breaking era, b-boys started to put popping and locking into their dance. So-called "Breakdance" consists of breaking, locking, and electric boogie or popping.

First knee i did during a soccer match. I slid knee first into the goal post (attempting to get a goal).
The other knee i did during an aussie rules football match where somebody tackled me and my knee bent sideways (if that makes sense). This was painfull. But apparently i won't need a knee reconstruction if i don't fuck it up again.

I dance all the time, at any available opportunity :D

I dance, um, i guess Ghetto Hip Hop, BET video girl style, lol

I also dance Latin (merengue, salsa, bachata)

I step too, but I think that's a Chicago thing, never heard of it from anywhere else :(

Yeah same. lol.

I'd like to learn some particular styles of dancing, doesnt matter what. Salsa and flamenco would be cool. I dont like the idea of taking classes though, unless it was just with a group of friends so it would be as intimidating. If you ever come to Adelaide, or if I go to Melb, it would be cool to have a hiphop/funk lesson Salar, lol.

haha, hell yeah
The performance i'm working for for Janurary is a Salsa Funk performance which i helped choreograph the funk part of it. It looks tacky when one person is doing it but when a whole performance team are doing it together it looks AWESOME!

But Sailor Uranus, u need to learn salsa, so i'll probably teach u that :D

I dance like nobodys watching. No particular style but I definitely wouldn't do it in front of my grandma. :o

i dance everything except country music lol. i dance salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, hip hop, and rnb. i love dancing hip hop though. its when i can break out my perfected c-walk. only a few people seen that though so i dont get jumped :D
