Hi all,

Thanks for the voting me nicest member/sweethear of the year.

Thought i best explain where i have been:

Its a long story so here goes:

I have been in hospital twice within the past couple of months as i have 5 slipped discs one of which is pushing onto the root of a nerve so been in agony with that and they also suspect that i have a virus called Transverse Myelitis - so i had a lumbar puncture done in hospital and am waiting to see the neurologist on Tuesday to confirm whether or nor I have it.

It is basically an inflammation of the spine which is very painful and then goes on to attack different parts of your body - first with numbness and weakness in the legs and arms, and bowel and bladder area - but now it has spread and attacked most of my joints which are now all very painful.

All they can treat me with at the moment until I have seen the neurologist is painkillers which to be honest aren't really working so that is why I am looking forward to tuesday to finally get the correct treatment and get some answers.

Oh and to make things worse - remember my aunt the pancreas cancer - after months and months of chemo and 5 weeks of radio therapy every day - that stopped at the end of december and my 2nd week in jan had come back is twice the size and has spread to her lymph nodes - she only has 4 -18 months to live now as nothing else they can do.

Lets hope you get well, and hopefully the doctors are wrong. There have been many instances where the doctors couldn't explain people's recovery and people got well after having cancer.

Just have hope, faith and believe together with your auntie and it can improve.

Fucking cancers... Remember how I posted twice last spring when my two grandmothers died?

Well since last may, I lost an uncle in June, learned that my auntie's brest cancer got a lot worse in July, one of my dad's best friends and a guy who basically thought me everything about soccer died in November, my auntie lost her fight of about 10 years to brest cancer on December the 30 fucking 1st, just to piss me off on an awful year.

Other than that, I really hope that you get better. I remember last year when we were chatting about our losses... Kind of calmed me down. I hope I can do the same by posting this :

Katie sorry to hear bout your lack of health Hopefully Tuesday brings some possibly good news aye.. With your Aunty, Id just say spend as much time with her as you can it would be hard with ur condition at the moment I'm guessing. My Uncle passed on 1st Jan. FUCK CANCER.
