Where for a Stag do in UK?

Right. I gotta organise a Stag do. What do they call them elsewhere again? Batchelor Party, Buck Party, or whatever.

I wanted to go to Iceland or Estonia. But the stipulations are that it has to be in England.

I have got 3 choices in mind - Torquay, Newcastle and Isle of Wight.

Is anyone on this board from those areas or has been there and knows suitable clubs and hotels for a group of blokes?


Or you can big up your home town/city and let me know what's good there. has to be UK though.

Come to Dublin, the Irish are very adept at holding stag nights ;) On a serious note, a lot of the English actually do come over here for their stag's it's a pretty big business for the pub's and club's in Temple Bar (the big club/tourist area).
 
I´m from iceland so i could have helped you out in that department .. flights are cheap as chips from the uk nowadays.
 
Blackpool mate... I know its a shit hole... and i know people will disagree... but blackpool... the amount of strip clubs, bars, clubs, strip clubs, pubs and shit there.... oh did i mention the strip clubs....

Birmingham is a good night out, so is leeds, nottingham. Actually blackpool isn't a bad idea, its quite cheap too, theres loads there as well i know its tacky but hey! sod it!! lol

Yeah. I wanted Dublin. But that was also ruled out by the groom. He said no to anyware outside England. :(

We done Blackpool. Good choice, but we done it last year.

I'd love to man. But it's a bit too far for a Stag do. About 21 hrs flight. However I may go for a Holiday in 2006.

Hmm.. Pity. Well I've heard Manchester is pretty good for a night out but that's a friends opinion not mine. You live near London don't you? Well surely you can find a cool place in a city of London's magnitude.

Well in leeds, we stayed in a novotel about 8 of us stayed in two rooms so it wasn't that expensive, there is loads of pubs/clubs my fav was fruit cupbaord which is a hip hop /r n b club, it was wicked, if i remember right there is about 2 rooms which play different music so you can pick which you like the best.

Nottingham, we stayed at loughborough uni with some mates, can't really remember much of the night, but i know there is loads of great pubs, one of which was a converted church, also we were told that there are more woman than men in nottingham, i think it was like 4 to 1 (cant remember exact figure!!)

That's all i can remember, sorry it's not much!

Yeah. Need to get away from London though. At least a 100 miles away. Don't want to run into anyone I know. Or have met.

Newcastle is fucking dope :D

honestly anything goes in Newcastle, i was down there last summer when Rangers played there and it was great.

and also Glasgow is good but watch your back.

Cool.

Maybe not Glasgow then as we have a habit of pissing people off. Although there is quite a few of us. But maybe getting stabbed isn't a good way to celebrate a marriage.
