When was made The 7 Day Theory?

I think that Makaveli was recorded days before he went to Vegas, because remeber Pac and Suge were pulled over for bumping the Makaveli album so loudly in their ride. But remeber that they only had about three songs on the album, which means it wasn't even finshed yet because the final cd hadn't been made.

On Dante's old timeline, it said One Nation was recorded in May/June 1996.

It doesn't pinpoint the exact date of the Makaveli Recordings.

QDIII said that To Live & Die In La video was filmed the day after Pac made the song (Obviously exagerrating a little bit there). However, To Live & Die In LA was filme during the summer, most likwly Agugust (It looks hot as a motherfucker in that video). There were twov ideos filmed for Toss It Up, the OG with Pac on the beach, and the official one used in the Makaveli Album Commercial.

Toss It Up (Instrumental) was recorded way back before Dr. Dre left Death Row in February 1996. Suge kept a copy of the Instrumental. When Pac heard it he recorded the song. (The instumental was recorded before the Makaveli album, but the ctual lyrics were recorded DURING the Makaveli sessions).

The OG Toss It Up was likely Aaron Hall, Jodeci & Danny Boy with 1 Pac verse.

Then Dre used the beat for Blackstreet's No Diggity (Snoop was still on Death Row and he was close with Dre, he probably told Dre about Pac using his beat).

So now, Dre has used the beat for one of 2pac's future singles, Pac changes the beat, adds the 2nd verse to Toss It Up, adds the "Without gay ass dre" to Live & Die In La, all AFTER the album was recorded.

This also would explain why Pac and Snoop were fighting the last month Pac was alive (Also, Snoop said he would work with Bad Boy, Dre worked with Nas, etc.)

I believe Makaveli was recorded in early August, and 2pac went back and made some changes in Late August, Early September and filmed the 2 (3) videos for the album.

The only thing that doesnt fit with this theory is: Why was Friends cut, it disses Dre and Jay-Z?

Maybe 2pac didn't cut the album, maybe Suge took Friends off after Pac died. In all likelihood, Friends and Nigga Nature were recorded for the album but taken off by Suge at a later date.

i say anysong that has sense been released with pac refering to himself as makaveli must have been from the makaveli session

^^^Not necessarily. I believe Pac wanted to be known as Makaveli from that point on, and not 2Pac, hence all the exit 2pac, enter makaveli shit. So he started recording songs using the name Makaveli. If all the songs he made reference to Makaveli on were all supposed to be on that album, that would be the world's longest album, because there are at least 35+ songs where he refers to himself as Makaveli, probably a lot more than that.

^^^yep. And not just August, but most likely LATE August, because I remember a few days before Pac got shot in Vegas that he talked to Nas and said he was gonna remove the disses to him from his album. And if the album was recorded in just 7 days, that would mean it would have to have been made late in the month, and most likely completed approximately 1 week (give or take a couple days) before September 7th. Im guessing the recording sessions for this album took place sometime between August 23rd and August 31st.....obviously this is just speculation but the time frame should be somewhere right around there.

the songs on DK7 were indeed some of the last songs that Pac recorded, if not the VERY LAST songs.

I dont know 100% obviously which songs were cut from the album, but my guess would be these, judging by the producers and the overall sound of them. Remember, Pac wasnt fuckin with Johnny J or Daz anymore when he recorded this album....Darryl Harper Big D, Hurt Em Badd, QD3, and Pac himself were the primary producers during these legendary and prolific sessions:

Mr. President
The Good Die Young
Tear Drops & Closed Caskets
Starin Through My Rear View
Friends

possibly also Fame, As The World Turns, and Soon As I Get Home perhaps?

Yea i have a felling that most of still I rise were supposed to be on 7days - they seem to be very similar in context

No, I think Pac knew about Friends not being on it. In the last interview he did with VIBE when he talks about the Makaveli album, he says it's TWELVE tracks, which is the way it came out. Not thirteen, not fourteen. So they way it was released was probably almost the way Pac left it.
