thats fuckin awesome :thumb:

i first heard him in '99 when i was about 9, my first songs were Thug N U Thug N Me, Me Against The World, and keep Ya Head Up

I heard about him in like 96 or 97. When i was like 11 yrs old. One of my mates told me bout him and played me some of his traks. I think hit em up was one of em. Since then ive always liked Pac.

I remember I started talking with my friends and they told me about Pac, it was like in 95' about the same time the Bad Boys movie came out. Since I got the soundtrack I started bumpin MATW the track on that album for a long time until one day my father brought me the How Do You Want it single with Hit'Em Up in it, that was when I started to go crazy with his music. He also once brought me AEOM from one of his friends and I on that day I was pissed for something I don't remember so I didn't want anything so he brought it back to his friend. I think that was the biggest mistake I ever did in my life, but I got it several years later. Basically, 95' was the year when I started to get into the music, since then I've been collecting the albums from his first one to his last.

Peace

Didn't really get into 2pac until better dayz came out. The only songs i had heard of his were california love, hit em up, and 2 of amerikaz most wanted and i wasnt impressed. I thought that was all he was about until i listened to a whole cd and then started listening to all his other cds and his unreleased stuff and ogs.

When I was REAL young I saw Tupac and Snoop doing interviews while on the set of "2 of AMerikaz most Wanted" and years later my dad bought a CD called "MTV Party to GO" which had a "I Get Around" remix that I always listened to. I kinda fell out of it but then years after that I saw a Tupac tribute on MTV and I bought Greatest Hits in probably summer 2000. If you look online for Tupac info chances are you'll come across HitEmUp.com which is how I came here. The second album I bought was Until the End of Time and after that I was very hooked. I have all the albums now except 2pacalypse (I Know!) and The Rose that Grew from Concrete Vol.1. But Tupac has changed me for the better and I have bought many books about him and am very fascinated by him, and I'm thankful that God has sent him to me.

Peace.

in 96 i was in year 7 at school and all the cool people were talking about 2pac this 2pac that. and i thought who the fuck is that. anyway my interest came when i asked some of my friends whats the big deal. they told me about the beef between biggie, pac and how pac had been in jail and all that shit. i thought this sounds cool its like music with gang violence at the same time. anyway about 2 years later i wanted to get into rap and my friends loaned me juvenile-The G code. i gave it back and said this is a piece of shit. they loaned me a few other cd's and i didnt like them. then one day my friend had the how do you want it single in his hand and i knew 2pac was the biggest name in rap so i said loan me this "if this isnt good im not listening to rap ever again". the first song i put on was hitemup because everybody use to go around school talking about it. i heard it and couldnt beleive how hardcore it was and loved it. after that they loaned me all eyez on me and i wasnt all that excited at the start excpet i thought life goes on was great. i taped it from cd to cassete listened to it a lot, until i loved it and ever since then its been on. <- haha i love it how everybodys been saying that "ever since then its been on"!!

i first heard of pac when dan quayle was saing all that shit about how rap albums have no place in society or whatever. i was real intrigued b/c i wanted to know what was so bad about the music

then, my cousin, who's 5 years older than me, was huge basketball fan and started listening to pac b/c of above the rim

he let me listen to his thug life tape and i liked it from the start...ever since, i followed pac's every move and all the media shit and everything

I heard 'I get around' on the radio and I liked the beat and his flow, although the lyrics were pretty silly to me. Then i heard 'keep ya head up' and i liked the positivity of the song and also the Roger and Zapp sample. It was all history when I bought the How Do U Want It single with Hit Em Up on it. But i didn't have any money to buy all eyez on me or makaveli ... so it wasn't until he passed that I started purchasing his albums.
