linx what scores have you gotten online? you seem to be uncomfortable with the higher scores other people on here have gotten. insecure perhaps?

You're kidding right? You honestly think i'm uncomfortable or insecure? It's a fucking online IQ test. I was simply pointing out that it's probably not very accurate. If you want to believe whatever you score got, that's fine. I definitely don't believe it though. Just because someone trys to point somethig out to you, that doesn't mean you have to start acting like that. I'll just keep laughing while you keep thinking all the people on this board are damn near Einstein's. Give me a break.

:thumb: Like Calcuo said, not even "real" and "recognized" IQ test are really accurate, so online tests are even more bullshit.

If u want a real test, go to mensa's site. It's in spanish, but you have to do 18 questions in 8 minutes, when you finish click "Corregir". Then they tell you if you have any chances of joining or not.

The fact that written ones are timed, protctored, and more difficult. The fact that you cant look up the answers on the internet, nor can you click the back button. The fact that once you have taken one of the IQ tests online, you have taken many of them. If you notice, almost all of them follow the same format. One of the questions is always about seperating #'s from a group of numbers, with the answer being the number that is a perfect square.


If you think about it, an IQ test is inherentnly blemished when measuring intelligence. Since they are all timed, it potentially filters out 'intelligent' individuals who arent good at taking tests/slower thought process/ or just plain uncomfortable in a certain enviroment etc. I mean, what our society defines as intelligent, individuals such as einstein, whatever, they werent timed (maybe in the sense that they were going to die but no formal timing) when they completed their monumental tasks.

And, of course, theres the cultural/social aspect that affects performance on IQ tests.

I did a proper IQ test for a job interview and, it was 1 and a half hours long and contained a shit load of questions. I ended up getting an IQ of 136. This was a year or so ago.

based on a real iq test i have a 135, i took about 3 or 4 of these online tests and averaged like 132 so i guess they are fairly accurate but not legitmate tests.
