Hey people. You may remember me or not but i'm here to tell you what has been going on in my life in approximately 1 year.
This is just a story of inspiration.
Well let me start from the beginning.When I first went into high school I never really got the hang of it. Grade 9 was without much turmoil. However, that quickly changed at the start of grade 10 and up unti 2 years ago. To make the story short I was a fool. Yes, I wasted away every day without doing anything productive. I stopped caring about school and became someone or rather somethign taking up space and giving nothing back. For the 5 years that I was in high school (took an extra one for failing courses left and right) Life was hell. I made my Mom's life misserable without merit and my own aswell.
fast forward to September 2005.
I was finally on the right track in my life. I applied to college and got in, it may sound small but for me it was a dream; for the very first time in almost a decade i saw light at the end of the tunnel. Things were amounting towards something. I finished my first semester in college and did ok, could have done better but i didn't fail anything. Now i'm taking it to a higher level. I have decided to go ahead and apply to university and hopefully begin my road to become a lawyer, a dream of mine since I was maybe 8.
The point of this you ask? well nothing more than to express some of the happines that fills my life right now. Maybe you can understand as well as me that life has it's hardships but it is never too late to turn around and set it right. I truly feel luckier and I know that some of you who don't will someday experience it.
I will keep you posted on my university application. If I don't get in, don't worry I will try again until im there. Thank you and good night.
