What's for dinner tonight?

So, it's my turn to cook. Last time I prepared Pescado con coco (Fish in coconut sauce) and Moro de guandules con coco (Rice, pigeon peas and coconut) which isn't hard to prepare. Takes like 30-40 mins or so. Typical Dominican food. Anyhoo, my boyfriend wants me to make "American" food so to speak. Something less ethnic, I guess. He thinks making the food I make is difficult because it's not something he's used to. I don't know what to make.

Any suggestions?

Hah, that's true. I don't think it matters to him, he probably just wants American food.
