You have the 1st generation ipod I believe?
Nope I mean at any time. You need to give you ears some rest so you won't have any hearing loss when you get older. How many hours do you listen to your ipod with earbuds on?Dave D said:^^^^
You mean actually full blast as in can go no higher?
Actually yes it can damage his hearing in the long run. It depends on how long he is listening to his ipod and how frequent he uses it. Check out the decibels and what they are compared to:CalcuoCuchicheo said:For the volume? No...
I don't know about being insane, but it terms of hearing loss it can have an effect and studies have proven that. He can develop over time acoustic trauma (injury caused by noise) to the hair cells. It just depends on how long and how frequent he uses his ipod.CalcuoCuchicheo said:GITVIHC, mobile phones are known to be harmful. Does this make mobile phone users certified insane? Nope.
As long as you are giving your ears a little break here and there then its pretty much okay. Once you start hearing a litte low pitch noise without your ipod on, then my friend you will have problems. Just take care of your hearing. About the earbuds for my personal experience after 30 minutes my ears would hurt like a mother because you have to shove them in your ears while headbuds you don't.Dave D said:Usually I listened to it at that volume about 6 times a day for 20mins, coffe break, ride home etc. then at a lower volume throughout the day. Oh and I dont use earbuds, they make a differance?
