sometimes while i'm trying to fall asleep at night, i become affraid that i may not wake up. but that is only because i catch myself not breathing as i'm just about to fall asleep. i caught myself not breathing twice last night

You know, when I was little I had a nightmare where I was drowning. I woke up during it because I had actually stopped breathing.

They should make a show about this shit, "When Nightmares Go Wrong"

Believe it or not, it's true. I think it's because it's not an everyday pain. It's not something you can describe to someone else. Unless you've experienced childbirth, there's no way to explain that pain.

As for the topic at hand, I'm afraid of flying, snakes, dying a horrible death, losing my dad (he's sick), something happening to one of my kids, I think that's about it.
