pac n biggie met only one time after the shootin 94
they met at the source awards 96
Biggie didnt asked nuttin, but yeah the whole deathrow vs badboys was bout to fight at the backstage of tha awards show
But pac never said he was dissin biggie just cuz sellin' records

Man, Voletta Wallace just made all that shit up to make Big look like an angel and to make Pac look like an idiot, or to make Big more appealing to Pac fans like "ohhh he didn't REALLY hate him.. or do any of that.."

I don't think it was at the Source Awards; I think it was at the Soul Train Awards in L.A.

From what I remember reading from firsthand reports, Pac and Death Row affiliates tried to rush the stage when Biggie was onstage. The two camps came face-to-face outside, and Pac and Lil' Cease were doing most of the shit-talking. A gun came out and everybody dispersed.

I remember in the VH1 special on Biggie, it showed Voletta Wallace saying that Pac told Biggie that he was beefing because he wanted to sell records. I wouldn't say Voletta just made the shit up, but I think she dropped a terribly inaccurate interpretation probably. I'm assuming that Pac might've said something along the lines of "I'm about money" or something, and then it probably just got blown out of proportion as it went in and out of different ears, it evolved into a statement about everything being because of record sales.

I remember seeing a video of an account from an eye witness, he said that backstage, the Death Row crew pulled up in a limousines and mercedes things like that, like 40 50 strong, Bad Boy were already in the parking lot like 50 deep too, apparently some shit talking and shouting started and the 2 groups rushed towards each other but the Nation Of Islam guards walked right in between them and broke it up before anything major went down

how u kno? i heard bigz mom say it on radio that big asked pac about the dissing..and pac said cuz of selling records.

i herd pac say in an interveiw
"people say its a beef about record sales..but to me it was personal"

i dont think u release a song like "hit em up" jus 4 record sales

& when pac & BIG squared of it was at the soul train awards & int the VIBE article BIG said it was the first time he saw pac in the eyes since the shooting & said summit like "this ni99a was flipping, he was crazy he turned into Bishop from juice it was realy him"
BIG froze up like a b1tch, but lil cease was pissed out of his face so he said summit like "fuck you west , eastcoas bad boy 4 life" then pac flipped out shoutin shit 2 cease, gun got drawn THE END

Yeah I read the same article he said pac turned into his charcter from juice and was talkin that crazy sh&t. then it said somthing about lil ceeze being pissy drunk talkin sh&t.

I think it was that vibe that had biggie and puffy on the cover back in like 95 or 96.

i guarantee big told his mom that pac said it was all about record sales just so she wouldnt worry for bigs safety

^^^Sounds Reasonable. Were the Outlawz present at this clash?

Was BIG afraid of Suge? Is that why he sent Cease out to talk to Pac? If Kadafi & Fatal were there it wouldve been on, Edi too. (Big dudes)

Re-read your VIBE biography of Pac, specifically page 109:
What was still mostly talk and propaganda took a turn for the ugly at the Soul Train Awards this part March. When Biggie accepted his award and bigged-up Brooklyn, the crowd hissed. But the real drama came after the show, when Tupac and Biggie came face to face for the first time since Pac's shooting more than two years before. "That was the first time I really looked into his face," says Big. "I looked into his eyes and I was, like, yo, this nigga is really buggin' the fuck out."

The following week's Hollywood Reporter quoted an unnamed source saying that Shakur waved a pistol at Biggie. "Nah, Pac didn't pull steel on me," says Big. "He was on some tough shit, though. I can't knock them dudes for the way they go about their biz. They made everything seem so dramatic. I felt the darkness when he rolled up that night. Duke came out the window fatigued out, screaming 'West Side! Outlaws!' I was, like, 'That's Bishop [Tupac's character in the movie Juice]!' Whatever he's doing right now, that's the role he's playing. He played that shit to a tee. He had his little goons with him, and Suge was with him, and they was, like, 'We gonna settle this now.'"

That's when Big's ace, Little Caesar of Junior M.A.F.I.A., stepped up. "The nigga Ceez--pissy drunk--is up on the joint, like, 'Fuck you!'" Big recalls. "Ceez is, like, 'Fuck you, nigga! East Coast muthafucka!' Pac is like, 'We on the West Side now, we gonna handle that shit.' Then his niggas start formulating and my niggas start formulating--somebody pulled a gun, muthafuckas start screaming, 'He got a gun, he got a gun!' We're, like 'We're in L.A. What the fuck are we supposed to do, shoot out?' That's when I knew it was on."

Thats probably the most realistic assumption. I dont beleive Pac was doin it for sales, he had the #1 album before all this even heated up. Also when you hear what his family is sayin bout the stress he was under at that time, its not like he was enjoying it. I'd say Biggies mum got it wrong.

so, should i believe bigz mom, cuz she said Pac was dissin her son, just cuz 4 selllin records...BULLLLSHITTTT

Listen 2 the interview pac did at the mtv awards 96

he said "There aint no beef, there aint no game"
that means pac was serious on this, he didnt just drop it all these 1000 songs, just 4 sellin..Helll Naaaah

the beef was a personal beef turned business (but still had the personal beef behind it) smart move by pac ..pac wanted to shut bad boy down and outsell them ..that is why he made hit em up .. he wanted to fuck up bad boys business and money because of what puffy said while pac was in jail ...... so yea something like hit em up was for money but pac also had a personal beef behind it ..
