DJ Quik, ONP, Daz, Dr. Dre, Pete Rock, and Ernie G have all been out and visible for over a decade.

So right now our contenders include:

Mannie Fresh
Just Blaze

It would be helpful if their proponents could run us through their production accomplishments.

I think i'l back down.

Edit: and yes, thats the guy.
He produced 99% of all the tracks on "The Cuf" & "Good4Nuthin" albums. + "Young Dre D - Troubled Mind", "Hollow Tip - Takin' No Shortz" and a bunch of others.

I'm not trying to get people on his dick - El-P doesn't have the mass appeal or Little Brother or Lil' Wayne or UGK, I'm just trying to have a conversation saying who is better than who instead of why someone sucks. I'M TRYING TO SEND POSITIVE VIBES. I'M TRYING REALLY HARD, I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE UNDERSTANDS HOW MUCH I HAD TO RESTRAIN MYSELF AT SOME OF THE NOMINEES.

Your thread says "What producer in the past decade...", so it's irrelavant whether these guys were visible for over a decade. We're comparing EL-Ps work in the past decade to another producers work in the past decade (?95-05?).

Since im a huge N8 fan. i'l dropp some off his projects off the top of my head. I know they have SOO many albums out. Vinyl only record & what not.

N8 The GR8 "solos"
N8 Got Beats (2002) [instrumental album]
N8 the GR8 & Friends (2005)

The Cuf
Federal Expressions EP (1996)
I Love This Game EP (1998)
Cufilation (1999)
Cuf Baby (1999)
Cufdaddy (2000)
Knock Twice (2003)
Money Isn't Everything...But It Helps (2003) [Pete solo, ft. Aesop etc.]
We Forgot About This One (2003)

Good4Nuthin
Real Sacramento Kings (2001)
Nothing 2 Lose (2001)

Other entirely produced albums (off the top of my head)
Hollow Tip - Takin No Shortz (1995)
Young Dre D - Troubled Mind (1996)

Random Tracks
Hollow Tip - Back Then (ft. Freako) [2004]

Hollow Tip - Hoo Ride Attack (ft. J Mack) [1995]
Hollow Tip - No More Brains [1995]
Hollow Tip - My World (ft. Ballin A$$ Dame) [1995]

Dre D - Dirt By My Lonely [1996] (favorite N8 beat ever. in order to truly appreciate it, you have to bump it in you headphones. Then again, the same goes for every song ever made)
Dre D - Troubled Mind (ft. Bowleggs & N8) [1996]

The CUF - 20 Times A Day [2000]
The CUF - It Gets Old [2000]

The CMA (Grouch & PSC) - $ouledOut (ft. N8) [1999]

I think listening to El-P would frustrate Dr. Dre while trying to make beats for Detox.

Off-topic, Lok what The CUF albums should I check out?

"Cuf Daddy No Money More Problems" is considered to be their best one. But I never heard their first 2. nor have I heard any of their albums in the past year except "Cuf Daddy" (I lost my HD, and since I don't have the OGs & it's quite hard to find their albums online, I got fucked), so I can't remember off the top of my head.
I heard the Good4Nuthin albums only once (good4nuthin is N8 & Pete, both are from The Cuf), and damn I miss them.

Check out "Cuf Daddy No Money More Problems" (sorry I can't help that much lol, it's the only album I remember clearly). They have that Slump/Experimental sound. Some people don't like it, but I dig it. I guess if you like El-Ps stuff, you will like it, it's kinda similar.

P.S: Their solo projects (Petes "Money Isn't Everything...But It Helps", Robert RJs solos & N8s solos are less experimental sounding & more "conventional", so if you can find them, check them out)
