What MATW tracks are OG's

Shit!Dear Mama hasn't been released in its OG format?!I guess Moe-Z remixed the album when Pac was in jail, right? But did Pac give instructions for the way it should be remixed or they remixed most of the songs without his agreement?
They should re-release MATW with a bonus disc and all OG's on it.

When Pac was in jail and MATW came out he didn't even know the tracklist. I remember a letter in the book "ínside a thugs heart" around the time MATW came out where talked about tracks like Ready 4 Whatever & Only Fear of Death. So I guess pac had no control concerning the tracklist & release of MATW.
But it's funny that people only want OG's on next pac albums, when on MATW almost every song was remixed also

there's a difference in refining songs and completely remixing them. this is why the og's i have from that lp i refer to as demos, since they were basic blueprints as to how pac wanted the tracks.

likewise, it's not accurate to say pac had no control. he wasn't dead, he was in jail - and he still had a phone.

Good topic.

-My original version of "Me Against the World" is 4:35 long . The beat and hook are different. It is not acapella.

-"So Many Tears" original produced by Easy Mo Bee features Stretch. It's 4:18 long. My version is slighty tagged by DJ KaySlay.

-My original version of "Dear Mama" is 5:41 long. The beat is different. Pac's intro is from a radio broadcast where he wishes everyone Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year. Someone may have justed attached it to the beginning before the song comes on. U can tell this is the original because the doesn't sample "Sadie".

-I also have a Dear Mama acapella outro which is :16sec long. He says "free u from the cage full of rage, cuz this is what a cool day is, an even though your lonely, you're more than a mother, you're my homie , theres no way i can pay you back, but my plan is to show you that I understand". You can hear the beat to the released version in the background.

-I have an alternate version of Temptations where you can hear the full outro. Not sure if its the original.

-I also have a alternate version of "Can U Get Away" (ragga remix), the beat is different. Dont think its the original though.

Peace

^^ none of those are originals. they are all official remixes (except the dear mama clip, which was made with acapella and inst).

interestingly, the freestyle at the end of dear mama isn't on the original, so it was obviously cut off in the mixing process.

BTW, how comes Dear Mama isn't the OG while you can hear the same beat (atleast sample) in the bg of the acapella?
inst is similar but different. it has the same guitar riffs, but more is present. hooks are completely different, as is the intro and the outro. outro has the souljah voice and extends the song almost 2 minutes.

In Resurrection DVD,Pac said MATW was his prefered album...that's weird knowing that he may have wanted a totally different tracklist (Thugz Get Lonely Too for example).Interscope had more control than him on the tracklist of MATW...but maybe I'm wrong...

like dante already said, it's not like he didn't have a phone, and the songs he had recorded were blueprints.
Then I wonder why he didn't know the tracklist of MATW until the day it came out and why he thought tracks like I wonder if heaven.., Only fear of Death & Ready 4 Whatever would be on MATW??
