Ok so I have read them all, and I have to say mine was Angels and Demons. Don't get me wrong they are all good but that one really stood out for me, as I was disappointed with the ending of The Da Vinci Code.

I think they're both a bit sucky. (Haven't read Digital Fortress, etc.)
The general storylines are too much alike.

But you learn some nice useless history facts out of them. Personally I thought Angels & Demons was the better one as well.

I've only read Da Vinci code. I have another 1 somwhere which I'll read 1 day.

At the moment I'm reading learn networking in 24 hours, need to revise some boring stuff for a job interview on Wednesday.

Angels & Demons was a great read, But the Da Vinci Code struck me as the best book altogether. It made me Waaaoooooooooo! :woah: more

dont buy every fact that you read from his books, there a lot of wrong or modified stuff .

I dont think even Dan Brown would expect people to, after all they are categorised and marketed as fiction, nothing more. Although, yes - it's well constructed fiction so I suppose some people would be gullible enough to take it as pure fact. But hey, anything to get the masses using their brains in some capacity is a step up. It's much like Michael Moore - entertaining and provocative but if you want real facts, go to a library or academic source at the very least. lol.

That x-files episode of the Simpsons sums up this type of genre well:
"This story is completely true. And by true we mean false. It's all lies. But they are entertaining lies and in the end, isnt that the real truth?
The answer is no."

Anyway, I really liked Angels and Demons although I found the end a little silly. Digital Fortress was also interesting - more so than I was expecting. I'm yet to read Deception Point.

Surely that should only take a day? Well, I supppose being a computing/electronics book it's gonna be boring as shit and only possilbe to read in very short bursts.

Anyways, i've read Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress and another (can't remebr which tho) I quite liked them, but havn't really got a favourite.
