What is a diploma in the uk equilivant to? Is it like a degree or a GSCE?

U mean a US diploma? I think it's a high school diploma, but they finish high school at 18 not 16 so it might be A levels OR gcse's i dont know.

there is:
High School
GED
Tech School
and more
you can earn a diploma for different things

Me too. I remember gettin told this when i was 14 so luckily enjoyed the remainder, you can't beat knowing where you'll be every day at whatever time, and even better you know you're havin a laugh every day with your mates.

A National Diploma is worth 2 A levels.

A Higher National Diploma is the equivlent of first year degree and can cut down the time spent at Uni.


Those 2 are the only decent diplomas (in UK ) But it is easy for any teaching body to use the word diploma, so it could just be a piece of paper.
