Funny, I don't remember claiming I was speaking on behalf of the 3/4 of the world's population. At the end of the day, a marriage certificate IS a piece of paper. Just like a wedding ring is a piece of metal and a church is an arrangement of bricks. I'm not anti-marriage, but I don't agree with the idea that a married couple are inherently different from an unmarried couple. I don't agree with the idea that someone needs a piece of paper to justify their actions.
