What if Pac...

no...because one of the things that made him the biggest rap artist was the quote unquote east coast west coast war...which really was just a beef between BIG and Pac...but that beef created "hit em up" which just took him over the top and made him more famous than he ever dreamed

Taking bullets and surviving works wonders for the careers of rappers, not only because it gives them more credibility and appeal, but it gives the rappers more firepower (like Pac and 50). On the other hand, taking bullets and not surviving gives a rapper 15 minutes of posthumous fame, and then silence forever (like Biggie and Big L... Pac was an exception since the first thing I said applies to him).

i dont think he would be as big as he is now but i think that he woulda been up there with exceptional rappers because of me against the world

If he died in 94 , no makaveli , no deathrow , no songs comin out every year.... Really DeeezNuuuts83 sumed it up pretty well. 15 mins of fame the silence..... the fact 2pac comes out with an album every year , doesnt seem likes hes dead which is a good thing 4 us .

that's not neccessarily true...because there are tons of rappers out there who have been shot a lot of times and their careers have gone nowhere...mainly because they didn't know how to market it...50's whole career is basically based on being shot nine times then he had one of the most successful debut album...so what i'm trying to say is that being shot isn't everything it helps(lol now a lot of people are going to get themselves shot to get a rap career started) but there is a lot of rappers out there who have been shot, stabbed or whatever and their album flopped and they were forced to turn back to a life of crime on the streets because they are truly real gangstas...unlike most these G-unit/shady characters...and i call them characters cause they are all just playing the role

Well, for one, he may have had a better rep with the media, since then he wouldn't have been found guilty of sexual abuse.

I see what you're saying and you do have a point, but my point was that getting shot furthers the careers of people who are already in the rap music industry, with at least an album already out. I'm sure there are a grip of people who got shot THEN became rappers; those guys probably didn't go too far (with the exception of The Game). But of course for the guys already rapping, they had to have had some popularity in order to utilize the whole "getting shot" ordeal and publicizing it and using it to sell.

He wouldn't have been cleared of rape either. So he'd still have a rape charge hanging over him.
