No i'm not saying that. But I don't think that every new member who joins is a complete idiot. A lot of the members of this board are just really set in their ways and are not open to new things usually, this includes ideas and people.

Oftentimes before a person is able to find their place here, they have already been attacked.

Take for example the person who started this thread... perhaps they were planning on becoming more active here. They don't know that the question that they asked is one that is asked frequently. Maybe this question was their way of feeling things out and starting to post again. *shrugs*

Then Artisticgirl posts the most bitchy thing possible to the individual. It sets a bad first impression. Some people will not want to spend their free time posting on a forum that is so argumentative.

Just not new-comer friendly around these parts is all i'm saying.

lol that's what I thought.
35h/week is what I used to spend at high school every week.

However I understand what's up. Posting here seems to be a habit at the moment. When I get home and go online Streethop is one of the first websites I open without even thinking about it. I just click a few bookmarks even if I have nothing to check there because that's what I'm used to.
When I spend less time online or I'm busy I forget about everything and limit it to checking my email. Right now I always have some spare time to go online in between doing other things but I'm sure that if I was really busy and thought that I need to change some habits I would post really rarely, I could just forget about this place for some time.
