What happened to lil Zane?

that dude tried too much to be like pac (his style, his energy, etc), but the thing is, he sucked.

I remember he was on soul train performing a handful of years ago (2001/2002 maybe) and during his performance he shouted out 2pac and kept throwing up the westside.

At the end of the performance he said something about 2pac and giving it up for him and he threw up the westside again.
