What exactly does "timely fashion" mean?

It means being dressed appropriately for the appropriate event. Timely, as in event. You don't put on a 3XL jersey and go to church or a court case. It's not timely fashion.

However, this isn't set in stone, just what I believe.

imo doing something in a "timely fasion" either means doing something quick and making use of your time without fucking around, basically getting the job done, or it can mean taking your time making sure its done the right way... just my thoughts...

But, in all honesty, adding a smiley or "jk" would have helped, since I don't really joke around with you. If Big E or BeReal made the same reply, I would have got the joke. It doesn't have to do with common sense, as much as it has to do with unfamiliarity. :horny:
