See topic. I'm curious cause I read some shit online and people don't know what the fuck Rhode Island is or where it is. That's all fine, but then you got people that HAVE heard of it, but they have some kind of idea that it's like South Dakota, Wyomind and whatever. I have heard some wild shit and it made me laugh my ass of. I'm just wondering what you all think of when you hear Rhode Island. This is mainly for those of you that haven't been there. For those of you that have, you can comment as well.

Meaning you haven't been there and you don't know shit about it?

Ok, anyone else?

Small Ass State. it only takes like 2 hours to drive through.

You aint missing much alot of old homes an hills an trees.

Did go to Providence in 2004 that was a nice town. A few bars i went into knew how to party they stayed open late.

They got a lot of Dunkin Donuts in R.I. (A cops paradise :D )

Lol @ old homes and hills and trees. Exactly what part did you go to? And yeah, Providence is where it's at.

As far as the movies and the Family Guy show, I don't know where in RI they are supposed to take place. But I never seen any place in RI like those.

I think of a small, rich state with little crime... Even though I'm probaly like 50 miles away, never been their before.

Although it would be nice if RI was like that, you couldn't be more wrong. I will be the first to tell you that living in a poor area/an area with crime is NOTHING to brag about, but try looking up Providence, RI. Again, it's just like any other state. The only difference is it's mad small so it takes less time to get somewhere. You can be in a shitty area and then be in a decent area a few minutes later. I can honestly say i've never been to the rich area in Rhode Island though.

This is the reason I made this thread though, so it's all good. I won't hate on anybody who says what they think. Whether I think it's stupid or not. :thumb:

I think of the sound of two swords clanging together as Ghostface Killah's "Bring Da Ruckus" opens. I think of raw drumbeats, combined with minor brass chords, serving as the perfect backdrop for Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and the GZA to introduce the intense, urban vibe resonating throughout the album.

I think of the over-the-top punching and kicking sounds from a classic Kung-Fu flick fight preceding the jumpy brass riff and broken piano sequence accenting the second track, "Shame On A." The song allowing Method Man to unleash his complex lyrics and gives ODB the tones to showcase his wacky, often disturbing verses.

The way Dirty Ol...ohh wait--that's Staten Island. My bad.
