i must have posted this thread while i was really drunk last night. Now i see it there's not much i can discuss about it. I have been working my ass off lately though. I don't make random drunken thread posts regularly, you can spare me this one.

we are understaffed at my place of work, which means I end up working more hours. there's managers from other restaurants, because its a chain, that come in to fill in on the day to day managerial tasks , but they don't do the rotas.

I have expressed my feelings at work, plus I rang in and told them 'i'm gonna be late, because I need a day off'. They can't say shit to me really if I walk in late. Not if I'm working that many hours. It's cool though because I got the biggest pay packet ever last week, and I got my two days off this working week starting tomorrow.

Good to hear. See you have some rights if you work that hard. So weather they pay you good enough 2 suffer through or just work as much as you're supposed 2.
