I like:

the beat
lyrics
your flow
style
use of autotune

I don't like:

how the vocals (autotune) are off key.

overall 6.5/10.

if you fixed the autotune, added strings in the background and a synth lead i would probably give you a 9 or a 10.

^u think they are off key?

I guess I have to listen again.

But Limn, you do seem like an excellent hook dude.

sorry limn i don't have time to get you the notes but what i can tell you is that your autotuned vocals should match each bar of the piano in the background. the piano should be your guide.

oh ya btw..i just realized you don't have a bass line. add one in!! remember, the piano is your guide.

need some more ideas for ur track? listen to the track "let's play house" by dpg. i think you could get some nice ideas for adding in a synth lead.

and also add in some more percussion: 8 bars long. maracas, triangle, muted triangle.

In my humble opinion you could lose the autotune. Its a very meaningful hook and I personally feel that the autotune takes away from that. I feel that if you try and re-do the hook and add full emotion into it, it'll set the ambiance for the track better.

But this might just be a personal thing cuz everytime I hear a deep hook, with autotune, I automatically feel that it would sound better without it.

For example Wayne doing the hook for Game on My Life woulda been better without the autotune. He damn near sounded like he was crying on the hook.. I woulda felt 'his pain' much more if he wasnt altering his voice while expressing himself u know what I mean?

all in all, imo.. deep hook, meaningful lyrics, just lose the autotune and add the extra emotion. Let the world feel YOU.

... either ways sounds like a hook to a dope track, I'd like to hear it when its done.

peace

i feel u on the emotion part...i rly wanted 2 sing out but i was trying 2 stay as close 2 pitch as possible.

id have 2 say im great at singing emotion...not great at singing good pitch lol - so thats why the auotunes there.

i did try it without the t-pain effect (only the natural pitch correction) and it sounded good..bt the effect jus filled it in more...so mebbe on the final version after verb and everything is added (mebbe even some subtle harmony fx) - itll sound fine (2 me lol) without the tpain effect

thanks 4 peepin tho...glad u like it so far

rly wish u cld thank/rep on this mobile version

haha its all good i'm not a rep/thankyou whore.

And yea I noticed ur good with throwing emotion into ur verses so thats why I figured it would be perfect with the hook. But yea mos def see how it sounds after mastering and all that, maybe it might turn out better without the auto-tune.

peace
