What do these tracks have in common?

I was reading most of youre last posts and Im simply saying that youre saying pacs life is soo good etc. like theres no even one bad thing about it. And you even said that chamillionaire is tallented

This is what I'm talking about when I say the album is complete trash. You can ride Amaru's dick all you want and say putting crunk beats to Pac is the right way to go, but putting something off-beat is never good. We have mixers in Mix Em Up that can do a better job than that.
:thumb: dam right homie, you can say that again!!

The parts i highlighted were the parts that prove that u dont know how to read properly.. Or maybe it's not a reading problem, maybe it's just that ur brain cant process what ur eyes are reading like most human brains do. But obviously, you assuming that i highlighted those parts cause they were unclear to me proves me wrong  ... Seriously man, put some more brain into it, regardless of the fact that u stand in a different position than mine from the album.

Seriously?? I mean i highlighted what u said the 1st time to give u a chance to re-think it over.. But u seem proud of speaking the 1st nonsense that jumps to ur brain, huh?!! Well, i'm too lazy to quote myself from all the posts in the previous few days, but let's take the couple of posts that r in this thread, and in this page too:

The pacs life verse does not flow well at all.
On this i agree .. I think LT originally made the beat for "This Life I Lead", as a remix or smth, cause the 2nd Pac verse flows way better than the OG Pac's Life verse.. They should've sampled Pop Life in at least one of the 2 versions on the album.
Those 2 posts, have u read them before runnin' ur mouth, explain my position from the album (plus many other posts where i also mentioned lots and lots of negatives).. They explain how i see many wrong aspects (and how i'm even remixing some songs - in the mixemup section - that i think could've been done differently), but how i am also liking the album pretty much, regardless of the fact that it's not perfect..
The Pac's Life post above, and the Dumpin post in another thread (that u surely must have read since u been following my posts closely) clearly show that i'm well aware of the OGs, and that i have them or at least have listened to them. Actually, i donnow why anytime someone goes against the "general opinion" that all OGs kick ass, i donnow y u assume that this someone doesnt have or havnt listened to the OGs.. Cant someone like most OGs, dislike some of them, hate the rest, and not really compare the new material to them?!! And even in comparing them, cant someone find some remixes better than the OG's (draws a massive ohhh  from the crowd)?!!! Dude, where was u when i had the OGs???

2) Further more, had u read my posts properly, u wouldnt have called me "that Nazi guy".

Seriously man, what's wrong with what i said?!! Yes, the guy got talent. Yes, Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem, Bone Thugs, Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Obie Trice, Chamillionaire, and many others do have talent (each in his own class of course). Some are legends, some are brilliant rappers, some are very good and some are normal (fair) entertainers.. But they all got talent. Talent's level may vary, but it doesnt make someone "talentless" or "whack"...

So yes, there are talented guys in the 2000 era.. Mainstream or not, like them or not, cant deny they got smth that makes them different than the others.. So from the list i mentioned, some i like very much, some so-so, some i hate.. I do like Chamillionaire, not really crazy about him, but i bump him from time to time.

Another Tupac? Never.. Never will anyone even get close to half of what Pac was.. That's y there are classes.. And Pac is in a class of his own.

P.S: Since Michael Jordan left the game, there have been hundreds of GREAT TALENTS. MJ was in a class of his own. Today, i like lots of players. If i'm to wait for someone like MJ to come to the game so i can say "this guy got talent", well i might as well never watch an NBA game again..

Man I don't even know where to start.. we've got TOTALLY different opinions. Most of the things you said is totally opposite to my opinions. I think that Chamillionaire is the most untalented rapper since 0.5$(50 cent). There are good rappers today but of course it's not Chamillionaire or 50 cent or Ja rule in my opinion (but the last one is the best if I had to choose) Whenever I hear or see him he makes me laugh. I'm not saying that I've red all you're posts. Just it kinda pissed me when I were reading throught threads and everywhere I saw you trying to convinve people who doesn't like Pac's life why it's so good etc. I'm the one that really is fucking pissed that they won't release Pac's songs in OG form. Honestly in my opinion 2pac's Original songs are best songs in whole hip-hop to me. Even when Dumpin is a nice song it's simply not that vibe.. I don't even listen that song for Pac's verse because he simply doesn't fit there. If they'll cut his verse from it and replace with another Fatal verse that song would be probably even better. Dumpin OG isn't that catchy but it has something in it that makes me listen to it from time to time and don't just delete and forget it like most of those remixes. They're simply deeper. Anyway I haven't seen to many negatives from you about those mixes except claiming that "there are some negatives but overall the album is good" things. That's how I feel what you wrote. I don't agree with it. And I'm NOT running my mouth. I've just made a comment about you're statements that started to irritate me a bit. That Nazi thing was because I was too lazy to quote you and forgot you're nick and it was the only part I remembered as it was quite funny. After all we've got totally different opinions.. For a second I felt like you're trying to convince everybody to you're opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I felt

^^ This discussion if goin' nowhere, but i'll answer a few points:

1. I couldnt care less what others think, let alone try and convince them.. I just dont like people being like cattle, like sheep, and be just following someone who says something.. I myself like to form my own opinion and defend it and preserve it, rather than just join in in a party of bashing and "booing".. That's all.. So like when i say i like this album, someone will tell me "wtf", so i'll also say "wtf" when someone says "he doesnt like it".. In the end, i donnow about others, but i'm not trying to convince anyone, just trying to show that there is a "2nd opinion", which i'm sure that many have, but who probably care too much about their reputation to just come out and say "yes, we like it.. screw them ogs, some of them really sound horrible".. And read this well, i wasnt saying that the ogs are bad.. I was only saying that some OGs arent that much... This "OG" dickriding is really a joke.

2. I too would've liked many ogs released as they are, but since we have most of them, it's not a big deal. Had they released them, very few people would've appreciated them. Plus i think that people these days cant judge objectively anymore if an album or a song is good or not, cause it's simply not "og".. I bet that if these songs were the "ogs" we had since some time now, people would've been praising them like a muthfucka.. The same songs people are now hating on.

3. Dumpin' OG is a pella over some drums. It's not good as a song.

4. Pac's Life OG is better than the released one.

5. I'm really not gonna go back and show u everytime i mentioned negatives about this album, but really, believe me, i've seen and mentioned them all.

6. Regardless of the above point, i was never shy to say that i like the album pretty much.. It's not excellent, but it's pretty good.

7. In the end, just like you "just made a comment about my statements that started to irritate u a bit", i also made comments and challenged some "cliches" that really irritate me on this board.. That's the person i am. If someone says "such such", i just dont take it as a given.. I really wanna be convinced. If not, i'll say what i think. Back when LTTG was released, i was fighting with people who said they liked "Ghetto Gospel". I was fighting with people that said the album was very good, cause that's what i was convinced of and not cause it was "cool" to say it. So now, it's still "cool" to be hating on this new release, but as i said before, i give a fuck about being "cool". I'm real.

Pz.

As you probably seen before most of people doesn't really like that album because it simply isn't as good as it should be. Dumpin Og is not just a "acapella over some drums". It's got it's vibe. Remix doesn't. As i said.. you can cut Pac off it and you won't hear a difference. It simply isn't Pac's vibe. I don't care that you're trying to be "mr orignal" and different then everyone. Yes sometimes I've got different opinions but as you seen this board is full of people who really know much about hip-hop. I'm not saying you don't, but many of them could prove my statements. Of course there are people with different opinions. But if something's not as good as it should be they simply say it and if a lot of people claim same as it really is you'll say they're "following other sheeps" n shit. I don't wanna waste my time to discuss on some topics when you won't convince me and I won't convince you. I like Pac's originals because i like them. I would be a fool to listen to them just because it's "cool" and "everybody hear does it". It would be a terrible waste of life and mind. I CAN actually think by myself and i know what i like and what i dont. To be honest i even respect opinions of other people. I had a bad day when i wrote a lot of shit actually i would say anyway because thats what i think. I would use different words only.

2pac was born to help u through hard times,. show me another rapper who is sooo damn emotional like pac, there is no one, and lttg and pacs life is clearly fuckin trash, fuck when we speak about pac there should be no opinion, real pac tracks bring me to cry and shit. but lttg and pacs life is nothing but 50 cent or the new style clubbangers makin money shiiiat

as the man above said, if u cut pac from pacs life it would be another club banger album which dont give a fuck about real messages within real emotions, coze i give a shit about them other rappers on there, they all have nothing to say they only rhyme to get money

See, there is a fundamental problem with how u analyze what i say/write... I wont bother much anymore, just will tell u that the statement u made above is as far as can be from the truth.. U got it twisted right there homie..

I totally agree.. Just not in the same context as u. I think if it's a Pac x anti-Pac case, sure, there should be no opinion.. But if there is no opinion in Pac x Pac cases, what's the point of having this forum?? Just a bunch of people agreeing that Pac kills 50, Delores Tucker and a bunch of other dickheads?!!

ManiacDego said:

I been reading this a lot.. LTTG, i wont argue cause i bashed that release more than anyone here.. But about Pac's Life, well my point is the following:

Let's face it, this is not a collection of Pac's best lyrical work (depth wise). We can keep pointing fingers at the production, but in the end, can u tell me that there is one track that if was produced otherwise, or even kept OG, that would've touched u in the heart, in the soul, or made u cry or contemplate for hours?!! Apart from Soon As I Get Home (which was OG released), do u see an "unconditional love", a "life goes on", a "brenda's got a baby", a "starin at the world", a "changes", a "still i rise", etc..

Pac's verses on this album, no matter how good, strong and catchy they are, are simply not on the same level with Pac's best work, and i think this plays a huge part in the fact that this album is not comparable with Still I Rise.. Shit, hell no, it's not comparable, not even if it was fully OG released...

ManiacDego said:

Never was a Pac album made worth/worthless by the people who're on it or by its production/beats.. Hell, 2Pacalypse Now and S4MN have beats that were obsolete by 93 or 94 at the latest, but i play them albums more than i play any other artist. How come?!!

Again, i totally agree on the whole "deep and real messages" issue, but man, to speak the truth, Pac's verses are not the peak of his work.

And again, dont get me wrong, i love those verses.. I just dont see them compared to Pac's best and deepest shit (on the pellas level).

yeah uve right, i mean there should be no opinions over facts, if peeps comin and say pac kills 50 or delores its just bullshit, its like when i say my opinion is the colour red is hte colour blue, it could be my opinion but the fact is a very different
and the fact is the fact

so its when we talkin about pac, this party shit which is goin on, is def. not the right way, pac is very wellknown all over the world, at my place in my district in the whole fuckin land, nearly everyone knows something about pac, not only in my age, hes a fuckin legend, so theres no need to lay pac vocals over shitty modern beats and hopin that it will sell better to hold an center alive...2pac as an name alone will sell millions of copies

the way i see it, say you have two versions of a tupac song and they are the ogz and the remixed/modern ones...

in most instances the modern/remixed tracks are being released... the ogz are the ones released on the internet... if u're fortunate enough to hear both versions, then do what i do, and enjoy both versions... if you dont like the new versions, then dont listen or buy it...Nuff said...

btw, to say chamillionaire and 50 cent are untalented is mind boggling to me... For one thing you dont make multi-millions of dollars like they have and have no talent whatsoever... it reminds me of closed minded people saying "rap is crap"... just because they grew up on some country or rock shyt.... if u dont like em, then dont listen to em... its as simple as that...

It's one thing to say 50 and most modern rappers are shallow, and that their raps are only about partying, girls, materialist things they have and want to buy, and all that crap, but it's a whole different issue if they have talent or not. Plus i dont see Chamillionaire as being in the same class as 50, lyrics and depth wise. He's got some heart, but in the end, they are about makin' their money, and it's tough for them to do so by rappin' "Pac style".

and yeah, i dont think chamillionaire is on the same level as 50 at this point or if ever... But like Pac said before, there's enough loot to go around for everyone...

as for people always saying people are biting Pac or imitating his style, in defense to that, it's hard not to be influenced by him when a lot of the rappers look up to tupac like we do... 2pac rapped about almost everything there is to rap about... he set the standards that a lot of rappers are just following... it's not like tupac never borrowed from anyone...

I'm not sure if u were addressing me personally, or just talkin' in general, but to clarify things out, i have the same point of view that u do. I mean i'm against dubbing them artists as untalented just because one doesnt like them. Plus i dont actually "dislike" them. I might not be fond of most of them, but i do listen to them occasionally.. 50, Em, Chamillionaire, G-Unit, D12, Game, Nas, Biggie, hell, even Diddy (lol, well, not Press Play anyways, but some of his older stuff), and many others..
I even used to listen to some Jay-Z, but for some reason, my hate towards this dude just grew to the extent that i cant listen to him at all anymore!!!

^ yeah, i was speaking in general terms to people dissing and disimissing rappers..saying they're gay, wack or garbage... its like i dont go out of my way to listen to eminem, 50, et al... but all the people u mentioned do have certain songs i like... Its like i like ridin dirty when i first heard it, not so much after the radio played it out... and i think diddy can put out some good music too... if i like a song of someones, i like a song... i think its wrong for anyone to just be closed minded and dismiss rappers because tupac dissed them 10 years ago...lol

going back to dumpin, just because it doesn't sound complete it still sounds dope as fuck. ive heard plenty of tracks that didn't have anything really going on with the instrumental and it was dope because of it!
