What are your earliest memories?

So my earliest memory had to have been from when I was 18 months old or younger. We were still living in Queensland and we had a steep driveway. I had a plastic tricycle that dad would let me roll down the driveway. I also have some other vague memories of swimming in a wheelie bin because it was hot.

Probably my 5th birthday when I got a big yellow truck as a present. My memory from 5-16 is pretty bad though.
Isn't it strange how some people have really good memories and others don't. I got mates that can't remember anything before ten years old but I remember shit from like 18 months plus.

I have random memories as early as 6-7 years old. However can’t remember much of high school and that was 10 years + (ouch that hurts, feeling a bit old).

But I find overall I have a bad memory. Especially versus many who remember vividly their childhoods. I remember events, specific events really, but not in great detail.

My earliest is playing on the floor with a toy helicopter when I was 2 or 3 and mispronouncing the word "helicopter" as "heli-cocker," which caused family and neighbors who were there to burst out laughing and talk about it. I guess that's why it imprinted as a memory and might actually be why I took to being funny. Like it was instilled at that early age that being funny was approved of and got attention. Just guessing.

I don't know what's real or not. I picture myself but I'm thinking it's just me picturing myself as I know I should look from seeing pictures and stuff. The science behind memories before the age of 3 or 4 is actually very interesting. We aren't able to remember much if anything at all from before that. No one has really pin pointed why.

The first thing I can truly remember is bouncing a basketball outside of a laundromat around 4 and a bird flew into the window and landed dead right next to me. I don't think it was traumatic at all but I can vividly remember that

So that explains why you're the way you are. I see. Lol.

Our ancestors often looked to nature to tell them important things about their lives. Sometimes birds come as messengers to let us know that an end is near. (Not really, but wouldn't that be cool)

2 years old. i remember the hospital phone, it was the one where you spin it (i think i was trying to call my auntie or grandma) after my tonsils got removed. i also remember i couldn't drink apple juice because of my tonsils. my oldest memory is bad one lol

It is weird I honestly don’t remember a lot of like 2004-2008.

I remember fracturing my arm between the ages of 1 and 2 by falling from a high chair. I just remember a hospital room with a blue floor when I was being put in a cast.

I remember getting a white train birthday cake for my second birthday.

As far as years where events were smushed together and felt like a blur, 2014 until today is probably an era I'll forget in the next decade, depending on how things go.

Otherwise, I have a ridiculous selective memory. I can remember names and seating arrangements dating back to elementary school. Random shit like that which has no use for me now.
