When i got to the counter, it was pretty cool, this like late 50, maybe early 60s year old woman rang me up, and she pointed to the book, and was like "I was in Las Vegas when he was killed." and I was sorta shocked and I asked her "Were you close?" and she says "Well I was really close to the MGM grand that night. It actually was very hectic, and sort of scary." Haha I was like damn, I thought that was pretty crazy.

Anyway, just an interesting story, AND, this fucking book is amazing, like, I think this is the nicest Pac book I got. How do yall like it?

I haven't bought the book yet, but I took a look at it when I stopped by Barnes & Noble on my way to work yesterday morning. It's really awesome, and the reproductions of Pac's various written material (scrap paper, album tracklists, etc.) are really awesome... basically clones of the originals, with both sides printed to scale, even with the holes punched out when it was something written on notebook paper. I didn't read the book yet, but there were parts that I breezed through that were new accounts of Pac's life that I haven't heard before, like stuff that involved his classmates from his younger years. I think I prefer this over the Tupac Resurrection book.

But to comment on what you said about that old lady, I was talking to this girl I used to date when I was a senior in college, and apparently she was in the same hospital at the same time as Pac, visiting her grandmother who was recovering from surgery I suppose. I should ask her more about it, maybe she'll remember seeing some interesting stuff.

how much is the book at barnes and noble?
I don't remember the exact amount, but I think it's between $45 and $50. I think Amazon has some sale where it's just $27 or so with free shipping, that's your best bet. It'll take a week to get to you, but it's worth saving the $20 or so. Besides, you can just hit up your local bookstore to check it out.

EDIT: I just ordered it, it's $29.70 brand new. The free shipping is available, but it takes 5-9 business days for delivery. Not a bad deal.
