Did not say over a balcony 'if you cannot afford bread, eat cake' or wat ever the line was. That was just a myth.

So why do teachers teach this false facts.

And a related thing which is probably only meaningful to Australians - there are suposedly "records" that suggest the Chinese came to Australia during the Zheng He voyages back in the 15th Century, even though the British still take the credit for the "discovery".
