Watch yo mouth is very good, if only it was finished. It was recorded at a similar time Krazy was recorded, wasn't it? I remember a story about Pac rushing to the studio just to record that track. A day before Krazy or so.
I'm testing the Makaveli demo now.

edit: hell, this leaked version of Secretz of War is good. I always liked the original version of this song but it seems that there are so many versions of that one that I'm getting confused.
So 10 crack commandments were really ripped off? Or was it the other way around?

The version of Watch Yo Mouth on the Makaveli demo sounds finished and more complete. If only it was in cdq but it came from a tape....

Yeah come to think of it it does sound finished, but it feels like it's still lacking something. A proper chorus maybe? I don't know. The beat is nice.

Also "Things are changing" is my favorite version of "words to my first born" I think.

HOLY CRAP a different version of Krazy!! That's my favorite 2pac song. I didn't know that the released version was slightly remixed. I believe that someone played the supposed "Makaveli Demo" back in the days and the version of Krazy they played was much more similar to the released version, wasn't it?
Too bad the quality isn't great.

There's a version of the demo that QD3 streamed a while back that had songs sounding more like retail but it also had songs like Lost Souls and Friends. Apparently there's a few demo's out there one of which is a bit more rare. Here are tracklists of the different demo's

Thanks. Krazy and Watch Ya Mouth were recorded on 18th and 19th of July so placing them on the tracklist 2 days later (probably before they were technically finished) would mean either Pac really wanted them there or he thought that there's not enough good material for that album and that's why he recorded them and placed them on the tracklist.

It would seem that the 7 day theory demo was older then.
So for the retail version they decided to release a mix of the newest version and the oldest version while also removing Lost souls (a shame really) and Friendz.

Friends was replaced by Just Like Daddy...which honestly is the ONLY song i skip when i listen to Makaveli. Such a shame that they took off Friends. I would have loved for that song to have come out instead of shitty Just Like Daddy...

I've had Krazy OG on repeat for the last 3 days. I think I played it 100 times or so and I still love it. I'm in love with those drums there.
I mean, I prefer the released version since it's a masterpiece and the instrumental is so much more complete there but ooh my the drums on the og are sick.

I thought 'The 7 day theory' was hardcore but just some quick thoughts on 'The 3 Day theory':

- By far I prefer the retail versions of 'Lost souls', 'Krazy' and 'Thug nature' (ft J Valentine).
- I really like the more distinct acoustic guitar on 'White man's world'.
- The intro to 'Blasphemy' on this is rather tame, the intro on the retail version creeps me out.
- I've never liked 'Friends'.....any version of the song.
- The Nas reference on 'When thugz cry' is missing. Was that later added or was it removed? My uneducated guess is that it was later added on the song.
- I keep wondering why that Toni Braxton song was put on the intro of 'To live & die in LA'. I remember how that song was constantly on radio and TV when I was in high school.
- Totally random but when Pac starts saying, "I love that thug s!@t" on the outro of 'watch your mouth', I think its really cool
