Was 2Pac going bald?

I remember reading stuff about people saying how the stress of Pac's rape case was making his hair fall out (so you figure this was around 1994), but from the jail interviews, Pac's hair had grown out. Plus there's that bathtub photoshoot where his hair is starting to come out, and it looks pretty full, so I'm gonna have to say that Pac just shaved his head.
