Wtf is that all about?

I usually have some sort of song playing in my head but I woke up this morning with a Gaslight Anthem song in my head, forget the name of it, but I havent listened to them in a looonnnnnggg time.
It happens all the time to me with songs I dont even like or havent heard in years, I must hear them somehow without me knowing it.

How the hell does it happen and why do u wake up and immediatley have a song in ur head? Does this happen to others or am I just going slightly mad?

I remember i used to wake up with that GZA song in my head. it was from the Beneath the Surface album. I actually hated the song and it used to piss me off that it would be playing in my head when i woke up every morning for about a month straight lol
