Technology Video Card Question

I was going to pick up GTA: San Andreas for the PC this weekend, but I have an older video card. It's an ATI Radeon 9600 which I bought in 2003. I haven't played many new PC games (The most recent is The Punisher)so I don't know how well my card will handle San Andreas. For those of you that know about video cards, do you think I will have any problems with this game, or should I wait and get a new card first? I don't have any problems playing Punisher or Madden 2005, but I don't wanna take the chance. Thanks in advance for any help :thumb:

Well I hope so, I just don't want it to be all choppy or slow, like when I bought Vice City back when I still had my old card, an nVidia GeForce 2 from 1999

My specs are fine, I just got this cpu 2 months ago, I was only worried about the video card not being up to par, since computer technololgy advances pretty fast
