As for the artists... I don't understand why Celine Dion wasn't there... She's like our biggest star.

To say that the USA team were better than everyone expected, fair enough. But one cannot honestly claim the Americans at any time truly dominated the game. Miller was still awesome, but Canada outplayed them on the fieldgame.


That's at least my layman's opinion.

Canadian hockey fans suck.

So, my friends and I decided on a whim yesterday to go to Vancouver, BC and check out the Olympic atmosphere. Little did we know that Canada was playing against Slovakia that night, hoping to go to the final with the US. Anti-American sentiment was very high lol.

Here's a couple of short clips I took:

That one is right after some crazy American decided to march down the street (I think Granville?) with an American flag. He got jumped by a bunch of Canadians like 5 seconds later and the cops had to intervene. I couldn't find a sight of the flag.

As you can see, they were chanting "Fuck USA" for much of the whole night. Just picture me with three dudes without Canadian hockey attire and you have four suspicious-looking motherfuckers on the street.
