The Aussies sure love them some new vajayjays.

However, several Australian doctors have raised concerns about clinics offering vaginal cosmetic surgery, often called getting "designer vaginas".

Favorite story of the day.

According to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, there are several procedures being offered. Those include "vaginal rejuvenation, revirgination, designer vaginoplasty and G-spot amplification."

Who knew there were so many options?????

The college said in a recent statement, "What is involved in these procedures is often unclear since recognised clinical nomenclature is not being used."

They went on to state that the procedures were not only expensive, but also dangerous and unwarranted.

Adding that they discouraged the surgery especially since it isn't backed up by scientific evidence or any clinical trials.

Don't mess with your woo woo, ladies!

Most of the operations cost almost $10,000.

Crazy.

They added, "The real risks of potential complications such as scarring, permanent disfigurement, infection, dyspareunia and altered sexual sensations should be discussed in detail with women seeking such treatments. The college is particularly concerned that such surgery may exploit vulnerable women."

The college wants to educate women by having them understand that there are "a large number of variations in the appearance of normal female genitalia."

Ted Weaver, the chairman of the college's women's health committee, said "We feel these operations might prey on people with insecurities and fears who actually need psychological help. They are also not very anatomically-based and have the potential to cause serious harm."

Don't fix what's not broke, ladies.

I agree, i have seen a show about this on mtv, i want to say true life but not sure about surgery to enhance looks, went through a couple different cases.

I guess the girl had some overly big vaginal lips, so she got them basically made smaller. It is just another thing that is originated from porn/media that makes these women feel bad about how they look. Women need to stop feeding into this bullshit

I've never heard abut any of these vagina surgeries before now. Maybe it's something that's a bit more popular in your country, I don't know. I didn't really post it cause of the country it took place it, but cause of all those surgeries. Wtf is wrong with people.
