Ok i want a few opinions on something :

1) Did anyone else think that Natalie Portman's acting was fucking horrible in the movie , everything that came out of her mouth made her completly sound like a fucking idiot , was this what they wanted to portray , an example "are you some sort of crazy person or something". If there is another thing that gets on my nuts is actors/actresses coming off horribly trying to do an english accent , and Natalie Portman was terrible at it , thinking about it , why couldnt they just hire a british actress , is it that fucking hard , Keira Knightly comes to mind.

2) Another thing was the whole "we want to make it seem authentically as a British flick" , with a "bollocks" here "bollocks" every where a "bollocks , bollocks" , shut the fuck up.

Sorry had to vent my anger for the flick , wasted my god damn money to go see it at the movies

P.S Hugo Weaving is such an underrated actor

I thought the movie was tight. Everyone I know who has seen thinks it's the same, I think you are upset at something.

Its funny... Most of the people who scold Natalie's Britsh accent aren't British/English at all. But yet I hear from most British "her accent was pretty good for a none Brit".

I don't know about the Brits on this board. Just from personal experience.

*Spoiler Warning*

And no I don't think her acting was fucking horrible. She played it pretty well when Evey discovered it was V who locked her up.

i thought ms. portman didnt do that bad of a role.........then again i did see a very average copy of it.......:woah:

overall i thought the movie was a GOOD FCKING MOVIE

i also thought why ms. knightly (who i am totally enamored with/doesn't she look like a cross between natalie and winona) didn't play the role for evy? but as the movie moved along i understood why. I think it would have been TOO CONTROVERSIAL FOR HER AS she is of british decent, and her acting career is WAY TOO YOUNG......or she was filming another movie at the time?/i hope it wasn't because of DOMINO, (although i liked that movie somewhat, but she should have done this one better)

I thought it was a great movie, the only thing I didn't like about it was the stereo-typical Britishness they kept crowbarring into it, especially the Benny Hill-esque comedy show with Stephen Fry, I really hated that part.

Apart from that I really enjoyed it.

Really been wanting to see this, looks fucken awesome.. but a couple of my friends hit me with some bad reviews too, so its encouraging to read good things here, will def go out and see it now.

And yes Zimbabwe, Hugo Weaving is incredibly underrated..check out 'The Interview' if you haven't seen it, not to mention all his other great work (apart from his newish one with Cate Blanchett, they're both very good in it but overal the movie is a bit gay).

Yeah the graphic novel is extremely better, if you like this movie get the novel. It's much more detailed and overall better. There are some differences such as Evey's role. In the novel, Evey is actually a prostitute.

that honestly would have meant more in the movie, guess would have better explained the ATTRACTION (kinda like beauty and the beast theme) not that it WAS needed.............
