Used Car Advice

Toyota!! and people saying buying used cars isnt a good idea it really depends, around here theres alot of old ppl tryin to get rid of their lincolns and whatnot... how i got my town car, 1,000$, 54,000 miles, runs great..

oh and almost any vehicle can last over 300,000 miles, you just have to know how to maintain it, in other words pay attention to maintanence so you wont have to pay for repair in the long run.. and dont use shitty products or have some dumbass service it.

I've found a 97 Cadillac Catera with 82K miles, fully loaded. It was going for $3000 but I talked him down to $2500. The problem is that it needs a new 02 Sensor. Is the car worth buying? What kind of damage can missing that part have on the car?

do some research and read what owners of the car have to say about it

also with a cadillac be prepared to have 1000+ repair bills for something that should cost half that. i know this from plenty of experience

btw catera's are shit they were the 2nd worst model cadillac ever put out

Another alternative you could do is take the 2500 and go get a used car thats 5000-6000 bucks. Put the 2500 down and finance the rest. If you go for 2 years your payments will probaly be like 125 to 150 a month.. Like Deez said most cars that are 2500 will have problems in the future.. Although a 5000 used car will eventually have problems too, you might be able to get some type of warranty if you buy from a dealer.. Plus it'll be a bit newer and have less miles.
