US people I need advice

I'm going to spend 3 weeks later in the year in ths USA, I was going to go earlier but I'm now going in October as a good friend of mine is getting married in Las Vegas at the end of October so I'm going to work that into the holiday.

I'll be spending time in New York, Miami, Orlando, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
Is there anyone on here that can recomend things to do in these places or any helpful websites or books. Las Vegas is easy, as is Orlando as I've visited there before. I'm interested in the best clubs, obviously I'm into hip-hop but my friends aren't really, so as a compromise the clubs with the best ladies would keep everyone happy.
Also I need to hire a car when in california, which I'd use to drive from SF to LA to LV. So does anyone know of any good car hire firms that'll let me pick the car up in SF and drop it off a week or so later in LV? Same applies for Florida. Miami to Orlando. Also I want a fairly decent car, an SUV or Corvette, I don't want a "family car".

I know this probably isn't the best place to ask, and I expect a lot of cocky answers but I thought I'd ask here before I start phoning the US.

wow vegas, cali., south beach, and NY...thats an awesome trip. In NY there are TONS of clubs/bars/lounges....off the top of my head is a place called 'The Park'
(118 10th Ave at 18th St)..never been there but i heard its a great time..ive been to a bar called Sutton Place, its a nice atmosphere..laid back..look it up
im actually jealous of your trip.

Nah. It's a fairly complicated trip so I need to get accomodation booked and flights and car hire sorted, I don't want to be hassled at the last minute, or miss out on the best places because they're booked... And any nightlife suggestions is cool. I will ask again closer to the time, but I just wanted to get some ideas together.

the desert drive is a killer
