It will only be used in a school so it doesnt have to have very good insides just enough to run...... It can only cost £175 or about $300. these need upgrading hard drive, Memory, CPU, Cdrom.

can somone please give me some details of what i need to look for in each.... im gonna use a 30gig harddrive. and thats all i know...

any help would be great. thanks:thumb:

instead of cd rom drive, get a dvd rom drive, you'll undoubtfully score more points on that.

for ram and cpu, well tell us what brand and model the motherboard is.Different motherboards have different sized slots

DVD player 16 x maybe u$40

Board and processor = AMD Athlon 1800+ (works perfect and its cheap u can even find it used) abou u$100

TNT 32 Video Card about u$30

Hardisk 30g maybe 60 dollars

Im sure you eill need ram so buy 128 MB DDR for bout u$30

U may need to buy a new power supply , maybe.... oh and dont forget the processor´s FAN
