A New York judge has allowed 50 Cent to spend time with his eleven year old son, Marquise Jackson.

As previously reported, Shaniqua Tompkins, 50 Cent's ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son, filed a restraining order against the rapper limiting the rapper from seeing his child.

According to TMZ, 50 and Tompkins both appeared in court Thursday (July 17) and were ordered to take drug tests before the judge made the decision.

50 Cent tested clean while Tompkins tested positive for cough medication.

The judge allowed 50 to visit Marquise from August 3-12.

"I haven't seen him in a while," 50 Cent told reporters outside the courthouse. "That's why I came here today for."

During the past few months, 50 Cent and Tompkins have been in a heated battle over Marquise and the rapper's Long Island mansion which burnt down in May.

Tompkins, who resided in the mansion with Marquise, has publicly claimed that 50 Cent orchestrated the fire. The rapper has denied the allegations.

50 Cent and Tompkins began fighting over the house after the rapper attempted to have her evicted from the home unless she paid rent.

The cause of the fire has not been determined and the former couple are expected back in court on September 14th.
