Term for people of mediterranean decent... usually greeks or italians though. The Wog Boy is also a funny australian movie. I think it probably used to be more offence but nowadays it seems just to be another word (here at least).

I'd love to be at University, but first I have to learn how to type properly on a computer. One step at a time. lol.

Man , i dont know what the fuck you be smoking , i know quite a few of my first year friends who went to o-week and had a blast . O-week down here was a fucking good experience . Nearly everybody , well at least 95% of the crowd drinking beer getting drunk , or already drunk , 1st year people are possibly the most sociable/ready to party type people you can meet

You miss my point darlin. I'm a 5th year, I'm over that shit. Drinking beer and socialising with first years is what I'm trying to avoid. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. lol!

Started uni in Sept. Never look at a map in public, even if I'm ridiculously lost and late. I'm noticing more of that segregation now compared to high school. (people hanging out with only same colour) but not a really significant amount in retrospect.

Uni is great bc I don't really go to my classes. I have more time to learn and more time to do nothing.

But, the dorms aren't cracking really, in terms of like, living conditions, and frats aren't my kind of thing, so I'll probably rent an apartment with friends close to the campus.

Im at University Of British Columbia, 2nd year engineering, Its great up here. Our school have solved the first years partying interupting anything. We have different dorms, one where all the first years are put, and then a more study centered dorm for 2nd years and on.

oh yeah the first year dorms even made it on leno as one of the top 10 easiest places to get laid.

Everyone pretty much chills with everyone up here, of course theres some groups, but thats gotta be expected.

I did a Bachelors degree in International Studies and then did an extra year where I wrote a thesis which gives the higher title of Honours.

Nah, thats something different again. We have masters here too. You have these options here:

Bachelor Degree then Honours then PhD.

Bachelor Degree then Graduate Diploma then Masters.

Honours is usually given for a degree graded above a pass....like a 2:1, 1st etc.
