The UK’s premier hip hop talent showcase is back on May 28th and 29th this year, and BBC 1Xtra DJs Mistajam and Rodney P are to host the event.
Held at Nottingham’s Rock City, UK Takeover 4 will feature performances from Sway, Kano, Klashnekoff, Jehst, and Professor Green. The two day event will also see an open mic session, as well as a 60 Second Assassin Emcee Battle, hosted by UK rapper Blade. Budding DJs are not forgotten either, as they are given a chance to battle to appear at this year’s DMC DJ Championship finals.
BBC 1Xtra will be providing free bus services to the venue in Nottingham from all of the major cities across the UK, including London, Manchester, Bristol and Cambridge.
