Derek Dasafo, aka Sway, isn’t so much a breath of fresh air for the UK Hip-Hop scene, he is more like a great big mouth full.

He caused a stir by winning the 2005 MOBO for Best Hip Hop Act despite being unsigned, which is especially remarkable considering he was up against global heavyweights The Game and 50 Cent, and that he hadn't yet released his album.

He made his name touring with Dizzee Rascal and opening shows for Ghostface Killah, Rodney P and Klashnekoff.

Sway's debut album, This Is My Demo, was released this month and features the hit single "Little Derek".
