Only London is somewhat quiet, even though there are still minor reports coming out of Tottenham.. but Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester and Liverpool are all having trouble, the first 2 more than the others. More than 700 people have been arrested apparently. As for your questions, I think it is something many people are asking themselves. I don't even know how to answer that, many aspects of society are going to have to change in hopes that this doesn't happen again.

Oh, for the Footy fans, apparently the England / Holland match-up has been cancelled as well. If this keeps going on all week, the Premier will surely be cancelled as well.

Geesh, 700 people? Insane. Last I heard it was about like 250 or something. I've seen ppl on twitter bragging about looting things.

I know the gov't is PISSED. This happens right before the Olympics are to be hosted there.

Yeah, this doesn't look good on the country for sure. I had almost forgot the Olympics are being hosted there. There's gonna be a lot of explaining to do after this fiasco is done. I don't know how many of the 700 (more or less) arrested were actually charged, but it's still a huge number.

In others news, various groups of immigrants are out protecting their own. Sihks around their Mosques protecting it from looters or vandalism, Turks protecting local shops and stores, etc. So, that's always nice to hear. *thumbs up*
